For more than 80 years, Bi-Rite Market has been part of San Francisco's vibrant food culture.

The original Bi-Rite Market on 18th Street dates back to 1940. In 1964, brothers Jack and Ned Mogannam purchased the market, helping establish the neighborhood grocery tradition that continues to define Bi-Rite today.

Over the decades, Bi-Rite has grown into a beloved destination for people who appreciate thoughtfully sourced products, independent food makers, fresh ingredients, and delicious food.

When I founded Wynn’s Kitchen, I wanted to create something that was missing from the Asian food aisle: authentic, Vietnamese-inspired flavors made with ingredients I felt good about serving my own family.

Growing up with Vietnamese food, I learned that some of the most memorable meals are also the simplest. Fresh herbs, fragrant lemongrass, garlic, chili, and a little creativity can turn everyday ingredients into something extraordinary.

But when I started looking for healthier Asian sauces, I often found products filled with added sugar, soy, gluten, and ingredients I didn't want in my pantry.

So I started making my own.

What began as a personal journey toward healthier eating eventually became Wynn’s Kitchen — a brand dedicated to rethinking the Asian food aisle with bold, versatile sauces made from real ingredients.

Today, our mission remains the same: make it easier for home cooks to prepare delicious Asian-inspired meals without compromising on ingredients.
