Wynn's Kitchen WON Naturally San Diego's People's Choice Award in Pitch Slam!
It felt surreal standing on stage pitching my brand, my mission, and my products at Naturally San Diego's Pitch Slam Competition. There were over 400 people in attendance at Liberty Station who watched and ultimately voted for People's Choice. I had the opportunity to share how Wynn's Kitchen began and my humble beginnings.
In 2016, I had a health issue that forced me to clean up my diet. I had to cut out sugar, soy, and gluten.
While this is hard for most people, it was especially hard for me! I’m Vietnamese and I love Asian food but the Asian sauces that you find in the stores are typically riddled with these ingredients.
I started experimenting in my kitchen and was able to make a healthy version of my favorite Vietnamese sauce. The Sate Sauce.
I loved it so much that I shared with my friends, and soon enough I was constantly getting requests for the Wynn Sauce! That’s when I knew that I was on to something.
Currently we have 3 products on the market, our Vegan, Keto Friendly Peanut Sauce, Keto Friendly Sate Asian Chili Sauce, and our Artisanal Pho Spice Pack.
Our products are approachable, convenient, and healthy! They are made with real and hard to find ingredients like shallots, lemongrass, ginger and have no sugar, soy, gluten, or artificial stuff.
Our sauces tastes homemade and they save you time in the kitchen because these sauces are so labor intensive to make it yourself. The best part is they are multi-purpose! You can use it as a cooking sauce, condiment, or dipping sauce.
Vietnamese Pho has become so popular, but the broth at the restaurants are typically packed with MSG & Sugar. I love making it at home but I used to go to 5 different Asian markets to get all the spices! That’s why I created a Pho Spice Pack that has my healthy & easy to follow recipe on the back of the package. Now, anyone can make their own pho broth at home!
Our products have been a hit with Vegetarians, Pescatarians, and the Keto community!
My pitch resonated with the people and it brings me so much gratitude that they voted for me!!

It's such a special award because if it wasn't for the people who loved my product when it was a fun side hustle out of my kitchen, Wynn's Kitchen wouldn't be where it is today. I worked hard, overcame obstacles, took risks to pursue this business because of the people who want healthier Asian food products, just like me.
With 3 Asian food innovative products that is approachable, convenient, and healthy...Wynn's Kitchen is only getting started!
