Wynn's Kitchen Featured on Courageous Podcast with Ryan Berman
There’s a phase in entrepreneurship no one really talks about—the space between starting and scaling. It’s not the early excitement of launching something new, and it’s not the stability of a well-oiled machine. It’s the messy middle. And it’s hard.
Our founder, Wynn Austin had the honor of chatting with Ryan Berman of Courageous Podcast. She shares what it truly looks like to build a fast-growing, clean-label food brand—one jar, one store, and one hard-earned lesson at a time.
What started as a personal health wake-up call became something much bigger. Wynn set out to create Asian-inspired sauces made without preservatives, sugar, or unnecessary additives—products she couldn’t find on store shelves herself. That simple intention has since grown into a nationally distributed brand, now found in over 300 stores across the country.
But the journey hasn’t been linear.
They dive into the realities of the in-between stage—the constant balancing act between growth and cash flow, the pressure of wearing every hat, and the emotional weight of building something that doesn’t yet run on its own. It’s a phase that demands resilience, resourcefulness, and a willingness to keep showing up, even when things feel uncertain.
Wynn also opens up about the personal side of entrepreneurship—navigating divorce, raising two kids, and continuing to move forward through moments of doubt. Her perspective on risk is grounded, her approach to challenges is honest, and her story is a reminder that building something meaningful rarely happens without discomfort.
This is a conversation about what it really takes to keep going—not just in business, but in life.
